SNOWMOBILING

With trail #14 right in front of L'Anse Motel, you have instant access to the awesome Michigan snowmobile trail systems.  

There are hundreds miles of groomed snowmobile trails throughout the Western Upper Peninsula.  These trails are maintained through a cooperative effort between the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, numerous local snowmobile clubs, and the U.S.D.A. Forest Service.

Generally, snowmobile season runs from December 1 through March 31.  This includes groomed snowmobile trails and unplowed Ottawa National Forest System Roads, and other areas as allowed.
